Hey! Are there any poetry lovers? I was wondering, what's your opinion on post-modernist poetry?

I like a lot of post-modernist poetry such as: "All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace" by Richard Brautigan, but I have to admit that it's the Romantics that do it for me; especially Coleridge.

To be honest, I don't like it that much...there are some real artists that make real poetry, but I'm afraid that nowadays, post-modernism gave the opportunity to name themselves writers to everybody. I'm not saying that it has to be bad for the people, but for the literature itself, it's a disaster. And now I'm talking about those who just swear without meaning, because it's cool to use this kind of language without sending a message and call it post-modernist poetry. As for me...my favourite writers come from symbolism and realism.

And modernism also. :D
