If you don't plan your diet properly, you could miss out on essential nutrients. For example, vegans need to be careful to get enough calcium, iron and vitamin B12.

You are absolutely right...in a way! There are many so called "vegetarians" that should really be called "starvatarians", because either they don't eat enough, or eat junk. Hence why stories arise that going veg could make you sick. It's a wonderful comeback from the meat eaters! Well I can tell you that a true vegetarian/vegan will eat more food, because the meat doesn't stuff you up! I don't just eat a plain salad....i also eat rice, veggies, desert, wine, hummus on bread with olives, etc....Oh and my iron is better now than when i was a meat eater. There is plenty in nuts and oats :)

Would you be so kind  as to give some suggestions?
