Samosa pastry is great if you can get it. Filo pastry works too, but you need to use two layers and use much more water to seal the edges, and it just isn't the same.

looks good. However, I would say this is not the way samosas in India are traditionally made.
How are them traditionally made? I want to learn =D
The above ones are not too off but Indian samosas are usually not as flat as the above and a little bloated.

My friend Lori and I get together one Saturday per month and try different recipes. We are both vegan.
This is definitely on the menu for next time. If one of us gets to Whole Foods in the meantime, we can probably get Samosa wraps. Otherwise, it's either phyllo pastry or wonton wraps.
Thoughts, anyone, on which would be best?
