What are some animal friendly supplies do you use around the house? cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc.

As far as toiletries go, I like the Lush brand of products.  I don't wear makeup, but I have a friend who only wears MAC brand because it is animal friendly.  Does anyone have suggestions for cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc.?

Do you mean non-animal testing, or completely vegan?

Vegan brands that I know of: Nature's Gate, Tom's of Maine, St. Ives (some of the products are vegan), Jason's, Kiss My Face (many of the products are vegan), Seventh Generation, and most of Trader Joe's stuff if you have one in your area.

I was thinking what was not tested on animals.  It's so easy to buy what's on sale without thinking of the consequences behind how that product was made.  If you are going to be a vegetarian, or a vegan, you need to be aware of more than just the food going into your body (assuming you have a compassion for animals).

I LOVE Trader Joe's, but it can be pricey.  I'm lucky enough to have a Stop & Shop supermarket that just opened a new 'test' store near me.  They have an entire section dedicated to vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, both in food and in non food products.  I think I'm in that store at least twice a week.  LOL

if it refers to - product that has no animal or animal derived ingredients, i just start to use one" Cusson baby soap (Bar) for bath.

other than that, i do not know yet ..

I clean with diluted Dr. Bronner's and baking soda/vinegar/alcohol mostly. Not only do I like animal friendly products I like planet friendly and frugal products. I try to buy toilet paper made from recycled paper when I can like seventh generation and we don't use paper towels at all. I buy my makeup on etsy.com from a woman who makes all natural mineral makeup that's vegan, gluten free and free of synthetic elements and allergens. It's called earth Angel Minerals and I highly recommend them!

I also use shampoo and conditioner by dermorganics and it's sulfate free, paraben free, vegan, and a whole bunch of other stuff. It's not 100% organic but it's made with organic argan oil and it's WONDERFUL. I'm a cosmetologist too so finding great natural, vegan beauty products is a MUST for me and I get really excited when I find things that work.

ELF is what I use as far as cosmetics go. It's vegan and cruelty free AND it's all either $1 or $3, you can't beat that! I get it at Target, but a lot of drugstores carry it too. And it's of amazing quality :)

I like using Kiss My Face body wash and Nature's Gate shampoo/conditioner, I use Tom's of Maine deodorant and toothpaste with Preserve toothbrushes. =P my goodness the list could never end.

I buy my shower gels, shampoos, creams etc. at superdrugs as their own brand is buav approved and most is suitable for vegans, including hair colour. I also LOVE the original source shower gels and hand wash and once again is vegan. Washing up liquid and laundry detergent and softener are by planet clean and are vegan too!

Saw this and it made me think of your post.

Here's a grand list:
