Is it sometimes right, or never right? I'm asking this because even among veg*ns there is some disagreement on this topic. I've seen some people say it is never acceptable and others say that is is acceptable only when looking for cures for diseases like cancer.
Personally, I am against it. To exploit animals in order to help humans is a clear case of speciesism, and to me the ends just don't justify the means. I'm wondering what the majority of veg*ns on here think.

Permalink Reply by Lauren Woods on December 10, 2012 at 3:19am Exactly. What is applied to animals is not applied to humans, it makes it a waste of time and resources. People can voice their opinions to say yes, no animal can consent. I don't feel in order to get ahead another life becomes expendable.
Permalink Reply by Lauren Woods on June 25, 2012 at 4:54am Completely against it. My favorite brand of eye shadow is now going to start testing their products on animals, I will never buy from them again. I might not have had such strong feelings about it, but when that girl did the demonstration in the mall (she sat in a display window where they gagged her and tested things on her just like they would an animal) I realized just how cruel it is. Just another way to exploit a living creature and put it through pain.
Permalink Reply by amber holden on June 25, 2012 at 7:12am i agree with what one of my friends said a few min. ago. when she found out that they test drano on animals........she said that animals dont gave a ratts hinder end if the drain is clogged....WE do....so why not test it on humans seeing as we are the ones using it??????????????? it makes so sense to me at all................they dont care about the things that we do as far as cooking and cleaning products go so why force them to be our dummies? why not force people to test the stuff for people?????????? leave the poor animals alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Permalink Reply by Humberto Antonio Ruiz on June 25, 2012 at 11:04pm There's not one reason to test on animals for our bodies work differently, which means results will be inaccurate.
