This is a very interesting question :)! Hmmm... if I fell madly in love, and that person told me I'd have to start eating meat again- I'd say no. If they made it an ultimatum, I'd leave them, because they clearly they don't love me in return. So many people lose themselves in relationships. Being with someone does not mean sacrificing who you are or your identity- certainly, they become a part of you, but you should retain yourself, and be true to who you are :) It's a non-negotiable, in my book.

No way. If someone is special to me in my life, they would respect my lifestyle. I couldn't eat meat again, I just couldn't. The thought of it makes me sick!

No. I will never go back to eating meat. When it comes to taking care of ourselves and doing what we feel is right, it's important to be our own someone special :)

NOPE! And that has been an issue in most of my relationships. They just don't get it and don't even try to understand my beliefs. I have had to overlook alot of things including a surprise announcement that my last GF owned a fur! DEAL BREAKER! It was tough...but I had to move on.

I would not! I can care for people who do it out of ignorance, and simply do not know any better. It is a different story when people are aware of the suffering of the animals, or actually cause it themselves (hunters, butchers, etc.) Those people I cannot respect, and choose to stay separated from them.

Nooo. If someone "special" asked me to disregard my values for them then they obviously aren't that special. I would never force someone to change if they didn't want to and I wouldn't expect someone to do that of me.

Absolutely nothing could make me eat animal product again, even if they began farming ethically and killing humanely. I simply will not eat my friends.
At this stage I don't think I could even date a non vegan.
