Would You Do What This Man Did and Save a Bear From Drowning?

True Activist.

They’re big, they’re hairy, and this one was over 375 pounds, but that didn’t stop Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Biologist, Adam Warwick, from diving in after a drowning black bear.

After the large bear had been spotted in a residential area – most likely looking for food, it had been shot by a tranquilizer dart. But before it could be sedated on land, it jumped into the Gulf of Mexico.

Not wanting to let the bear drown, Warwick stripped off his shirt and dove in the waters after it.

Local resident Thad Brett witnessed the dramatic rescue and brought his digger to the beachfront to carry the animal away.

Even though humans continue to develop the natural habitat of many wild animals, there are a few that positively represent humanity and allow good intent to shine through and surprise.

What did they do to the rescued bear that was initially tranquilized?

Was it returned to the person who's supposed to kill it?
