I heard once that everyone in the world is schizophrenic but it is only a matter of degree.

I'm sorry I've neglected this group. I've only just found out how to start getting email alerts from vegfriend again. Such a noob. Are any of you on any good mental health support sites or do any of you go to support groups? I kinda like the idea of trying a support group one day.

I forgive you for your noobery Kesh. I just joined actually so yay! A support group would be nice. I used to go on a site called Dailystrength.org. At least I think that's what it was. Man they have support groups for EVERYTHING- they even have bereavement groups. There is a down side to those groups though, you find yourself expending a lot of energy on some people who are in a lot of chaos. If you're the type of person who gives 110% to all the people who need you, I mean, it becomes very overwhelming.

Yeah it's really difficult to keep up a good friendship with people who are having a really bad time because a lot of the time it's a case of putting a lot in and not getting much back, and it takes a lot out of you. That's my fault though, because I care too much. I'm usually pretty good at detaching myself but recently it's been getting to me a wee bit so I'm taking a break from it for a while.

@Fruitfly i think what you said is true, I would probably be diagnosed as not being mentally interesting, but i recon everyone does have varying degrees of schizophrenia.
