Me I'm evolved and not afraid to face the truth about animal cruelty and religion politics etc... That is why I am proud to be an vegetarian and Atheist because i get inform about everything that's going on on this planet. Some people may think I'm crazy because I'm not asleep like them, it's easy to close your eyes and ignoring everything that is going on around you but it is those who are not afraid of facing the truth and making the effort to change there ways that will make a change in this world, not those who are ignorant and asleep.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised to discover that there are vegan/vegetarian christians :O For other than perhaps health reasons that is. Simply because most christians I've talked to seem to believe that god created all the animals FOR humans to eat and use..

The bibles a fable to calm & control the masses, paganism if anything is the nearest wo/man can get to respecting/loving nature if a doctrine is needed by their desire to understand, peace -x- :)

^ I agree. I've studied religions such as Wicca and very much respect their way of life and views. Most of them seem to be veg*ns and live eco friendly, good lives.

I'm actually a naturalistic pantheist, but I usually just tell people I'm an atheist because that's an easier concept for people to grasp and I don't feel like explaining pantheism every time I mention it. I don't like to use the word god either. I prefer just to say that nature is a higher power. Because most people think of god as sentient and I don't believe in that. I wouldn't want people to get the wrong impression about what I think.

hmmm I might be a pantheist too... never heard of it until you said it then I wikipedia'd it.

I used to be wiccan, and while I never actually decided to stop being one, it just sort of faded away.. I still have great respect for "pagan" religion like that, and I don't I really ever fully stopped being one, even though I consider myself agnostic/atheist these days. I guess I could say I'm a naturalistic pantheistic too, the way I view the world.

I consider myself an "extreme" agnostic. Building relationships with fellow human beings is more important than warring over the belief or lack of one in a deity.
