Can anyone give me some advice about making dosa.  I have tried several recipes in different South Indian cookbooks, but they never turn out right.  I do live in a humid climate, but Southern Indian is humid too, so the recipes should work.  Any ideas???

Great youtube video, thanks for posting.  I will try these.

Dosas can be tricky to make and requires practice. Unlike most other Indian dish which have standard steps, dosas require the flour to be proper, a good non-stick and also right amount of oil. Even if you follow all the steps, you may not get it right n the first tries.

You could try and get readymade flour from indian grocery stores.

Or even easier, have dosas at indian restaurants (if there are some nearby :)
