If you are talking about becoming veggie/vegan I would say start slowly, go at your own pace and don't worry about making mistakes. If you do have a question the resources and people on this website are here to help you. Feel free to ask anything in this group, in the forums or through chat. Welcome and enjoy!

Hey Whitney I'm Kristina! Welcome to the group! I have lived in Wichita Kansas my whole life and it isn't the most veg friendly place but there is a community here that I found on meet up.com. And also there is an app and website called happy cow and all you have to do is put in a city or state and it will tell you all of the vegetarian, vegan, and veg friendly restaurants as well as health food stores in that city or state. I have actually read that there are quite a few vegetarian restaurants in Kansas city but I don't know for sure. I've always loved Kansas city. It is so much better than my hometown. I was planning to move there a couple years ago but it never happened. I hope I helped a little bit. If you need some more advice or want to talk just comment back or message me. I would love to have a veg friend so close to where I live. I only went to one meet up but most of the people there were a lot older than me and completely vegan which i would love to be one day but im not there yet and i just felt kind of out of place. And nobody else I know would ever even think of being a vegetarian.
