Thanks a lot Danielle. I just recently started taking pictures again, after doing video for a while. I hope to stumble on more of these views. Mother nature did most of the composition. :-D

Good to see activity here :)

Dolichopodid fly from the backyard, these are tiny, and predators.
(trying out a mirrorless camera for the first week, digging the quality as much as a crop DSLR)

Hey Undertaker, nice macro shot. What camera and lense did you use? I'm into micro 4/3 since the Olympus OMD came into my life. Easy to carry around and good enough picture quality.

The OMD performs amazingly:

The EPL5, kit lens and +22 raynox close-up
I wanted the OMD, but it's too expensive for me so I went on the cheaper EPL5 to see if I like the mirrorless anyway, now I'll probably get the OMD in a year or so when the price drops and sell the EPL :)

This one is also with it, a ichneumonid, parasitic wasp

Which reminds me that I have a Raynox DCR-5320, which I bought for my video camera. If I only had a 72-52 mm adapter... hmmmm... let's search. :)

It worked. Though the Raynox +22 seems to get a lot closer :)
