I would love to visit India. I'd probably never come home. Haha. I live in Texas USA but thinking about moving in a year or 2. Costa Rica is looking pretty good and so does Panama.

I would Love to go to India, also.
I'm hoping to move out of this country like Kathryn...
should really check out Nicaragua, too. The people are much friendlier than Costa Rica, in my experience, and it's much cheaper.
I'm studying SRF right now, which is based on Hinduism, and it makes a lot of sense.
My problem moving is that I want to help third world countries in major ways and from what I've seen, that will take a lot of money which is easier to make here in the USA, no matter how insane this country has become!

Well you've got a good point there. I thought Nicaragua was unstable. I don't want to be looking over my shoulder in fear. Any thoughts?

I was scared to go to Central America for years because I heard it was unsafe.
I finally went in 2007 for a couple months and traveled through most of it.
Nicaragua was my very favorite because the people were so helpful and friendly and playful!
But a in any big city, Managua didn't feel comfortable.
Enjoy!

ALL that I can say is that Central and Latin America problems is more associated with corruption and abandonement, everything that's bad comes true. This, with selvage capitalism that the wrongly (even first world) called third world has to take in practice, allows people majority (low asset and income) needs goes down. Yes, we have a lot of problems round here, but, whatever doesn't ? If anyone comes here, will be well recepted, no doubt. For now, fear is the most stupid thing to think and feel, because of this causes repulsion by part of people here.
