Eating is a big part of being vegan. Sharing information about what to eat, where to get it and how to prepare is vital, and we usually rely on our local vegan community for support, information, tips and ideas.

Vegan Antirestaurant is a movement created to strengthen bonds between members of the community, and promote interaction between the different communities around the world.

Getting started with Vegan Antirestaurant is easy! Just go to meetup.com/VAntirestaurant, and check if there's someone hosting a dinner party in your area for you to join, or host a dinner party yourself. Just follow meetup's very simple guidelines, the service is free and very easy to use. For increased security, request Facebook friendship to guests, an ensure they're well-known and trustworthy before sharing contact details!

You can host Antirestaurant dinner parties at any time of the day, at your home or anywhere you can prepare the meal of your choice and seat the number of guests you're inviting. Getting everyone to participate in the meal preparation is encouraged, so everyone has the opportunity to learn to prepare your chosen dishes, and also help you with it. You may request everyone to chip in to cover the cost if the ingredients if you prefer to do so!

You could also organise a picnic, bushwalk, or meeting at a restaurant. You're not obligated to organise "Antirestaurant" meetups only! Feel free to organise the party in whichever way you like.

Once you host a party at meetup, share the link to it through the preferred methods your local vegan community uses to stay in touch: Facebook groups or pages, vegan societies' online forums, standard meetup, twitter, email, or whatever else. Track your guests through your Meetup Everywhere free service! Don't forget to specify the maximum number of guests you're willing to host your event for. Have fun, make friends, enjoy delicious healthy crueltyfree meals for cheap or for free, and help promote our chosen lifestyle in a gentle and inviting way!
