Good question. a few films i can always watch:

30 Days of Night

28 Days Later

American Psycho

hhm, more to come.

Maybe Borat as well. brutal.

Jacob's Ladder

Favorite = The Blair Witch Project!  Also, An American Werewolf in London and 28 Day Later (watched this movie today in preparation for the Walking Dead season premiere tonight!)  Gotta love scary movies.  Except The Exorcist, I'm too much of a wimp to ever watch that movie again.

Hard to decide between 'Apocalypse Now' which is the no-presentation-needed classic, and 'The diving bell and the butterfly': http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/diving_bell_and_the_butterfly/ - and you could say it's also somewhat a horrormovie in the way that it must be pure horror to be trapped inside your own body. But what a beautifully told true story.

28 Days Later

Dawn of the Dead

Event Horizon

Signs

I love dawn of the dead! The shining, 28 days later, insidious, halloween, the exorcist

Sooo many good ones!! But still good, old THE SHINING is one of my big favourites..

I'd have to agree with Ingunn on this one! The Shining is definitely one of my absolute favourite horror films. It never gets boring, and I've watched it so many times.

I have quite a few favorites. Like the classics Friday the 13ths and Halloween movies, Hostel 1&2, Drag Me to Hell, Mama. Basically Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino and Eli Roth films.

I spit on your grave (original) all the saws, philosophy of a knife, cannibal holocaust, dead snow, house of 1000 corpses/devils rejects, human centipede, the collector, Halloween, hellraiser, Texas chain saw massacre. Just to name a few...
