Does anyone have a good remedy for stopping split ends? My hairs very long and i want to grow it longer, I trim it myself. I don't know which is the best oil to put on the ends, thanks :D

@Mandy ... Navjot gave a great suggestion. How you style your hair plays a part in hair health. Personally, I no longer use irons or blow dryers on my hair.

From my experience ... I quite using shampoo and conditioners last year. Now, I use baking soda and water mixed to wash, and organic apple cider vinegar to condition. On occasion, I will use only the baking soda, water and tea tree oil for an all in one shampoo and conditioner. Plus, I like the smell of the tea tree oil and how it makes my hair feel. You can also add a couple drops of lavender oil, or the like, for a lovely scent. When I feel I need more moisturizing, I like to use organic coconut oil and/or coconut milk 30 minutes before I get in the shower. If I'm using coconut milk, I don't even need to wash.

Ever since I stopped using store bought shampoos and conditioners, and changed my diet, my hair has been restored of all the stripping from chemicals and my scalp is once again healthy. Not to mention ... it's a HUGE money saver that's all natural! Also, I cannot find ANY split ends and trust me, I my hair (which is long, to the back of my knees) was FULL of them. ;)

:O Aww wow, I have these ingredients apart from apple cider vinegar, also i have bicarbonate of soda, i think this is the same as baking soda? I cant wait to try this, also the coconut oil, thankyou. My hairs so dry mid length down, I'd love to have restored hair :D

Cindee - Your hair sounds amazing, mine is only waist length. How often do you cut your hair? I'm just wondering how much of a myth it could be that you need to trim it, in order to grow.
