"Struggling with what I say to people, family, when they ask me...why are you no longer eating pork and beef but you still eat chicken and fish...also why ar you against fur but you will wear leather? Hate being a hypocrite.

- Soooo I began this journey 12 years ago when I became very involved in dog/cat rescue which only grew after I retired....first I gave up lamb cause I wouldn't eat a baby, then veal because of the way they were treated...now when I go to the store and look at the meat all I can think of is the face of the cow that was slaughtered for this food. But I need some support...I can't start crying every time I go to the supermarket. I love dairy - cottage cheese- yogurt- and milk...am trying to drink soy based and rice based milk but find cheese substitues unpalatable...also I ride a motorcycle and it is difficult to live on PB and J on the road....I need some help here....
