Why Dairy Is Never Humane

Who was the mother of your milk? The source of milk is no big secret: it comes from cows. But most of us never think about the mothers of 'our' milk. We grow up assuming that cows are made to be milked—that they have a constant supply of milk and even that they need to be milked to relieve the pressure. But we need only examine this a moment to see that cows are mammals, just like us. And mammals produce milk for one reason: to feed their babies.See More

Hey, i liked the most recent vegan video you posted. i just watched it, and she expressed herself quite well, and was quite inspiring. it also helped remind me of why i really like this site, beyond some 'bumps in the road' i have experienced on VF. Thanks, and have a great day BSV!

This is a fascinating video despite its age. I wonder if you could think about making a YouTube video of yourself talking about its many merits.

Your website is awesome Emily and is very inspiring to me. I'm still trying to find my way in being a voice for the animals in a way that suits me. Have been completely vegan for a year now (3 years vegetarian) and I will soon feel completely settled in my vegan lifestyle. It's not easy with a meat-eating boyfriend and I've been living in Cambodia for the last 6 years, where you'll find meat in nearly every dish. We're planning to move to Europe within 2 years, so I guess there it would be slightly easier...at least concerning vegan products and supportive communities. Peace! and a hug for Ooby ;-)
