- HI :D I have been a vegetarian since 2009 after my cat died of a terrible lung cancer. I clearly remember lifting his empty dead body into a box. He was the love of my life! Later, my mom took me out to lunch and I ordered a ham sandwich at Subway. I kept looking at what I was eating, realized there was no difference at all and became vegetarian. I will NEVER eat meat ever again. I am very forthright about being vegetarian and very compassionate and sensitive towards animals. Yesterday, December 8th 2012 I became a vegan. I am really glad I made an even better choice for my health and the animals. I have about 500 times more energy!!! I could say a lot more, but yeah haha.
