What I Say When Asked Why I Became a Vegetarian

The question posed to me today was why I chose to become a vegetarian (technically a pescetarian at this time as I on a rare occasion I will have fish). First, I want to say that I do not judge anyone for eating meat as I ate it for my entire life with the exception of the last year. I am primarily a vegan. I eat only animal friendly dairy and eggs from a local farm. On a very rare occasion I may have fish. I changed my eating habits and eat mostly fruit I'm fit but people eating at mcdonalds will tell me that ( eating all those bananas you better check your potassium level ) even my parents who are not health and on high blood pressure and cholesterol meds , tell me I might be missing out on trace minerals from not eating fast food ! Crazy because they are smart but many years of brainwashing has taken it's toll ,
