One day while riding in the car with my then 7 year old son he said"Mom, it's not fair that we save animals lives,then meat eaters go behind us and kill the ones we saved" .. i explained to him that every bit that we do adds up, and that we are helping every time we chose not to eat meat(which is every day)..
