About
I'm a vegan psychonaut of few words. I'm originally from California but am currently living in Brazil where I teach English and am training to be a translator. I'm into shamanism and have been to a few Ayahuasca rituals while out here =]. I plan on being trained by indigenous shamans soon, and if it's something that interests you shoot me a message I like talking about teacher plants and the like. Changing topics from work and spirituality, I love being in nature: camping, hiking, fossil hunting, and swimming. At my core I believe in lessening suffering for all creatures, life is hard enough isn't it? I live my life by the philosophy "Ahimsa", "do no harm".

"Arjuna, he does not suffer doom in this world or the next; any man who acts with honor cannot go the wrong way, my friend." - Lord Krishna, Bhagavad Gita

“When one rows, it is not the rowing which moves the ship: rowing is only a magical ceremony by means of which one compels a demon to move the ship.” - Nietzsche

‎"So when you're in front of the back of yourself
You're gonna find that your mind
Is in the center of yourself
And god is nothing but yourself
And when you reach for yourself
You'll know that yourself
Is the only thing that can happen to yourself
So that nothing can put you down....." - DJ Shadow

"No European who has tasted Savage Life can afterwards bear to live in our societies. The Care and Labor of providing for Artificial and fashionable Wants, the sight of so many Rich wallowing in superfluous plenty, whereby so many are kept poor and distress'd for Want, the Insolence of Office...the restraints of Custom, all contrive to disgust them with what we call civil Society." - Benjamin Franklin

'I think that New York is the new model for the new concentration camp where the camp has been built by the inmates themselves, and the inmates are the guards and they have this pride in this thing they built, they've built their own prison, and so they exist in a state of schizophrenia where they are both guards and prisoners and as a result they no longer have, having been lobotomized, the capacity to leave the prison they've made or even see it as a prison.' - My Dinner With Andre

"It's no easy thing to walk in all things contrary to the world. The general shared perspective of the world is a powerful magnetism. It is a shape shifting illusion, overlayed upon an unseen reality. The reality was there long before the illusion and will be, long after it is gone. The time of The Apocalypse is destined to tear the illusions into tatters. You cannot build something new where something old still stands, so all of what has been of old must now come down..." - Les Visibles

"Since everything is but an apparition-perfect in being what it is, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter" - Longchenpa

“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” ― Albert Einstein

‎"The reason why the universe is eternal is that it does not live for itself ... it gives life to others as it transforms." - Lao Tzu

"For the soul there is neither birth nor death. The soul that is will never cease to be. It is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying, and primeval. It is not slain when the body is slain" - Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2 Verse 20

"I'll never reach a state of wealth all I need is food and weed. I'm saving every penny that I get to leave it to my seeds in a world of greed where everyone's just looking out for number one and blindly dancing to the rhythm of their godforsaken drum. I'm seeing past my physical state to the outer limits, hours passing by as I'm meditating are quick as minutes" - Beast 1333

"Mirror, mirror on the wall are you lying to me because I'm appalled. I've been standing here for hours trying to recall who or what I am this design is all wrong. I could've sworn I was a different shade, I'm ashamed when I talk, this hair is too straight nah this is off. None of it rings a bell, I'm divine I'm a god. If I travelled back in time I could find what I lost. I'm too bad to go to Heaven to good to go to Hell so I'm back in the womb until I excel. "The seeming imperfections of Earth, the hazards and inequalities of life, the cruelty, harshness and apparent indifference to suffering and affliction are not what they seem; as it is, Earth is perfect for its purpose. “It is good to be a cynic—it is better to be a contented cat — and it is best not to exist at all. Universal suicide is the most logical thing in the world—we reject it only because of our primitive cowardice and childish fear of the dark. If we were sensible we would seek death—the same blissful blank which we enjoyed before we existed.”
— H.P. Lovecraft, Nietzscheism and Realism (October 1921)

"Most people define happiness as the satisfaction of all desires. These desires are boundless but our ability to realize them is not, and unfulfilled desires always create suffering. It is only after we become completely exhausted from this incessant pursuit that we begin to realize the extent to which we were caught in the insatiable net of desires and passions. Then we can realize that true happiness is really a peaceful state of body and mind, and this can only exist when our desires are few" - Thich Nhat Hanh

"Cannabis seems to cause insanity in those who do not use it" - Cannabis for Autism

"Cannabis is not a health problem, the problem is that it promotes social values and attitudes that are unwelcome in capitalist, market-based societies. It is just that simple. A drug like coffee, with a horrendous health profile when compared to Cannabis, is completely welcomed into the market place and the home and the lifestyle of modern people. We value certain states of mind and we fear and suspect others." - Terence McKenna

‎"As our own species is in the process of proving, one cannot have superior science and inferior morals. The combination is unstable and self-destroying." - Arthur C. Clarke

"If animals ever formulated an organized religion, the devil would be depicted in human form." - Bishop William Inge

“Let’s just call things what they are. When a man’s love of finery clouds his moral judgment, that is vanity. When he lets a demanding palate make his moral choices, that is gluttony. When he ascribes the divine will to his own whims, that is pride. And when he gets angry at being reminded of animal suffering that his own daily choices might help avoid, that is moral cowardice.” ― Matthew Scully, author of "Dominion"

"To my mind, the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being. I should be unwilling to take the life of a lamb for the sake of the human body."

‎"Pot is still illegal and no one has a jet pack ... and you'll certainly never get the two of them at the same time ... civilization would crumble - who's gonna show up for work when you can smoke pot and fly!?" Joe Rogan

"lt's interesting that the two drugs that are legal - alcohol and nicotine - are two drugs that do absolutely nothing for you at all ... and the drugs that might open your mind up to realize how badly you're being FUCKED every day of your life!? “A hallucination is a species of reality, as capable of teaching you as a videotape about Kilimanjaro or anything else that falls through your life.” ― Terence McKenna

"Watch vids of people reading books. All they're doing is sitting there in place staring at a piece of paper and not saying anything. Don't listen to what readers say about books, because they've convinced themselves it takes them away to a world of imagination, or somehow imparts knowledge upon them, and that's clearly ridiculous. Don't read books and see for yourself or you could end up looking like a mindless zombie like all those readers, just turning pages" - some guy (the20scopes) giving an example of how retarded MJ prohibition is.

"Mental health is an on going process of dedication to reality at all costs. We must hold truth to be more vital to our self interest than our comfort. Conversely, we must always consider our personal discomfort relatively unimportant and indeed even welcome it in the search for truth." - Scott Peck

A holy man gave two men each a chicken and said, “Go kill them where no one can see.” One man went behind the fence and slaughtered the chicken. The other man walked for two days and finally returned with the chicken. The holy man said, “You didn’t kill the chicken.” The other man replied, “Everywhere I go, the chicken sees.” - Sikh Story

“Eat, therefore, all your life at the table of our Earthly Mother, and you will never see want. And when you eat at her table, eat all things even as they are found on the table of the Earthly Mother. Cook not, neither mix all things one with another, lest your bowels become as steaming bogs. For I tell you truly, this is abominable in the eyes of the Lord. Take heed, therefore, and defile not with all kinds of abominations the temple of your bodies...if you mix together all sorts of food in your body, then the peace of your body will cease, and endless war will rage in you. And it will be blotted out even as homes and kingdoms divided against themselves work their own destruction. For your God is the God of peace, and does never help division" - From the lost Essene Gospel of Peace

"O governo promove o racismo e a segregação, mas cedo ou tarde o poder voltara para nossa mão; pois na biblia tem essa frase escrita, bem aventurados aqueles que tem sede de justiça sejam eles brancos ou pretos, pois serão recompensados por deus serão satisfeitos. Eu vou dizer e você pode acreditar: A maior treta de todas vai ser quando Jesus Cristo voltar."
(The government promotes racism and segregation, but sooner or later the power will be back in our hands, because that phrase in the Bible is written; blessed are those who thirst for righteousness be they white or black, they will be rewarded by God and will be pleased. I'm going to say this and can you believe it: The biggest shit of all will be when Jesus Christ returns.) - Alex Pareira Barbosa (Mv Bill)

"Los políticos: Debajo de la carne humana parecen lagartos... Estos seres son los que dominan, dictan la politica. La situacion esta bien mala." - Beast 1333 ЯR

"In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king." - Erasmus

"God and I in space alone and nobody else in view. 'And where are all the people, oh Lord' I said, 'the earth below and the sky overhead and the dead that I once knew?' 'That was a dream,' God smiled and said: 'A dream that seemed to be true; there were no people living or dead; there was no earth, and no sky overhead, there was only myself in you.' 'Why do I feel no fear?' I asked, 'meeting you here in this way? For I have sinned, I know full well and is there heaven and is there hell, and is this Judgement Day?' 'Nay, those were but dreams' the Great God said, 'dreams that have ceased to be. There are no such things as fear and sin; there is no you... You never have been. There is nothing at all but me.'" - Ella Wheeler Wilcox, 1850-1919

Atheism is the belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs. Makes perfect sense.

"Goþ, mikilr gras raþizo du sneiþan ist!" (Good, the thicker the grass the easier the scything!) - Alareiks (Alaric) to the Romans' statement that they outnumbered the Goths.
