I am from Indonesia, and have been Vegan since 2001. I have been a vegan activist for years. I am the secretariat of IVS-Pontianak (Indonesian Vegetarian Society – Pontianak Branches).
When I first turned to be vegetarian it was because I can’t stand watching animals being slaughtered. I once saw a goat being slaughtered, the goat cried, then I thought that animals have feelings too. I decided to be vegetarian, and one month later I decided to be vegan.
I have a dream that someday, everyone in the world will become a vegetarian.
