Hi, I am Xiao Kang.
I am from Indonesia, and have been Vegan since 2001. I have been a vegan activist for years. I am the secretariat of IVS-Pontianak (Indonesian Vegetarian Society – Pontianak Branches).
When I first turned to be vegetarian it was because I can’t stand watching animals being slaughtered. I once saw a goat being slaughtered, the goat cried, then I thought that animals have feelings too. I decided to be vegetarian, and one month later I decided to be vegan.
I have a dream that someday, everyone in the world will become a vegetarian.

Great website!
I just have one technical question - Any chance the way the emails work can be tightened up? in 1 week I have recieved over 200 emails from vegetarian friend, which is way too much noise, and even after editing the email setting i still seem to get emails from all activity... which means i have had to turn off all emails - which is a shame because i donot recieve notifications when something is sent directly to me.
