India: A highly vegetarian country..with many communities fully vegetarian

Hi Veggi friends,

Being a fellow vegetarian; I wanted to share some facts and knowledge about vegetarianism as I am originally from India.

In India, being vegetarian is very common with many communities being 100% veggis. By Law, all food products have to mention whether they are Vegetarian based, with a green logo. Even Toothpastes and Shampoos have to mention if they use nay Non-veg content. Also,McDonald and Sub-way have most veggi burgers and sandwiches.

One Bowl Vegan Banana Bread

Super tasty and easy to make!

Ingredients:



2 big ripe bananas

1/2 cup brown sugar (any sugar works)

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup apple sauce

1/4 cup oil

1 tsp ish cinnamon

1 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda
