Hello to all that are taking time to read this. :)
Names Nichole. Haven't put too much time on the site and have found myself getting frustrated when in the discussion threads. So...I decided to blog so that I can look back and read my journey, kind of using this as my journal.
My eating habits at the moment: include seafood and dairy, though limited… it's been this way for the past 2.5 years. I have made a decision to stop eating seafood, or significantly reduce it from my diet alone with dairy.
I went food shopping the other day and I think I did a pretty good job at buying vegan. I even bought veggie cheese (yuck!) to ween off of the real cheese, which yes, I bought that too. I have not bought goat milk in sometime and am just using almond and soy milk.
Overall, I am feeling good about this… except, I am eating so much of the same things! I need to venture with my taste buds and take time to actually prepare my meals better.
This decision definitely has me thinking about my decisions in all aspects of my life. I am not one to push my views on others but find people do it toward me more often. Especially people I know… they always have a reason why we are supposed to be eating meat.
