I'm a vegetarian now and would love to be vegan but I find dairy and eggs in everything! I drink silk (soy milk) now and any eggs I use at home (I rarely eat eggs) are organic from a happy chicken coop from people I personally know. At home I could be a vegan pretty easy but what about when my friends and family want to go out to eat or what if I'm cooking and my ingredients I need to use say I need milk and eggs? Are there any substitutes while cooking? Any advice and tips on what I can do? While I'm asking, any good food choices and yummy things I can try? Thanks :)

I've been thinking about becoming vegan for a while and I thought this was the most helpful for cooking. Right now I don't eat any meat or milk but I am not the best cook so I tend so buy easy quick meals. I believe its allrecipes.com that has a bigger selection of vegan/vegetarian recipes too
