I provide studies, statistics, articles, youtube lectures and speeches, and most importantly, the findings of Dr. Campbell and yet they still argue and are ok with animals being killed!! Even on the humane, for the animals, side of it. It is just seriously annoying and pisses the hell out of me.

How do I "not understand" when I talk about the inefficiency of meat production? The deforestation of crops, pollution of waters, the unsanitary condition creating nasty bacteria, the healthier life style that will indeed prove better and make you feel better... just.. the resources all wasted and the areas polluted for meat production! What gets me the most is any argument on the humane side of a vegan diet does not work. No, you have to get more technical than that. Even then, they don't listen.

Is "The China Study" by renowned Dr. Campbell not enough? That I don't just preach because of my own values and beliefs but because they are also encouraged by SCIENCE and STUDIES?

It's not all black and white, you don't need animal products, you don't exactly need chemotherapy for cancer because you can reduce or cure disease with a plant-based diet. And prevent completely. Although, obviously with things being controlled corporately they don't want you to know you don't need animal products and the 'Got Milk?' ad campaign is basically a laughing stock. They spend so much money to promote the message and make you think you need it. Then, when your unhealthy, they make money off of you in even more ways.

I wish studies such as Dr. Campbells and advocates for the vegan diet were more well-known... makes me sad and upset to see a hard-headed meat-eater who won't think beyond "tradition" and an old system of beliefs.

As we get more advanced it's only logical to go about the most effective and efficient diet. To learn and push the RIGHT things and facts.

Eventually humanity will evolve and will all be vegetarians!
As people develop compassion towards all species..I have faith it will happen one day!

I was watching some documentary that said soon we'll run out of meat supplies for the growing population, and people will be forced to become vegetarians! So HA! Lol. But really, that's a sad picture. :(

I don't know so much with the mass production of it as well as the slaughter but with the fast rates I could see that possible. I just know its extremely polluting and highly inefficient.. and gross. what documentary did you get hear that from??

I feel ya on that Leanna. It's difficult to open people's minds if they don't want to open it. It's sad standing by and watching loved ones fall victim to consequences of the meat and dairy industry. Healthwise, not to mention what it does to you spiritually. Since i've been armed with all this information, i just want to grab ppl sometimes and shake em and say "Do yo realize what you're doing to the innocent animals of the world and to your aown health?" lol..Especially family and loved ones that have diseases linked in a large degree, or completely to the meat and dairy industry. It can be very frustrating. That being said, i feel that i'm not doing any good if i get too overwhelmed by low vibrational energies such as anger and hate. After all i was one of the ignorant masses most of my life, so now i have a new life mission to educate myself and others and practice being the change i would like to see in the world. I agree with Charlene that we are all evolving from survival of the fittest to a spiritual realization, but some are alot closer than others. Maybe some people need a few more lifetimes of suffering, i dont know, it's very disheartening though. At the rate we're going, if consciousness doesn't shift to to a more loving, compassionate level, the human race is going to wipe themselves out. I hope we get there before that happens.

I guess it's not that I was exactly mad, just frustrated in the ignorance. lol. After having a debate with some acquaintances I was very frustrated that he told me he was "not convinced" about it even after I provided very legitimate sources of evidence. For one thing, I can accept those that still decide to have their skewed diet but agree they understand it would be better if not, but to those who completely ignore the facts, it just gets me. To say to me "I refute that" to me denies science and studies, and that is what made me very upset. Just... dumb! lol.

At least, yes, more people are becoming aware... It just peeves me that people can be so close-minded. But! I am trying my best to turn into the best example and advocate for veganism versus someone people would immediately be turned off by for "radical views."

Yeah, I wish I could really enlighten certain people sometimes... mainly, those with health problems like my mom but at least I got her to cut down. Step by step I guess.

I am with Charlene and Terry; people will reconnect with Source energy and the Corporations that we have created and which now feed on us will die. Animals will be freed of our oppression.  If we can hold that in our hearts and put our energy into yummy, affordable, accessible alternatives, we will all become vegetarian or perhaps subsistence meat producers and have an omniverous diet, at least in transition. Try not to indulge in letting yourself be angry with them; it wastes your resources and it holds back the coming of the change. Kindness and love to you.

well said,Georgia, easierto say than to do when you have some grinning fool full of fear and denia lwith a wild look in thier eyes and a smug expression on thier face, not necessarily all at once but you get the picture!

Please tell me how you remain calm as I sometimes "see red",and I know it does no good....

I like the idea of the source...the true sustaining force, and being connected to that rather than the other stuff. When I turned vegan, I was awareof the freedom I felt.To be free of "stuff" is truly liberating....hard to explain to other ppl though, even those close...
