Indian Breakfast Recipe

This is one of my favorite breakfast dish :)

Poha (Flat rice) – 5 cupsb,  White lentils - 1 tsp,  Turmeric – ½ tsp,  Mustard seeds – 2 tsp , Dried red chilli – 2

 Boiled potato – ½ cup (diced) , Peas – ½ cup , Onions – 1 cup (finely chopped) , Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)

 Curry leaves – 1 sprig , Coriander leaves – for garnish (finely chopped) , Lemon juice – 2 tsp , Fried peanuts – ¼ cup (optional) , Salt to taste , Oil – 2 tbsp

Place the poha on a sieve and wash lightly. Sprinkle salt and turmeric over the flat rice (poha), and leave aside for 10 minutes.    Add oil to skillet and let it warm.  Add mustard seeds and leave it to splutter. Now add white lentils and red chilli.  Add all vegetables and sauté on medium flame. Add green chilli and curry leaves and sauté well.  Add fried peanuts  and coriander leaves and mix  Add moist flat rice and stir well for 3-4 min.   Take the skillet off the flame and add lemon juice. Mix well  Serve hot,  and enjoy the delicious Poha
