I'm having problems finding things to eat, and I don't trust my mom cooking. I find myself eating less then I use to. And I really don't like it. 

I just want to find REAL food to eat, but I don't know what to make. I do the search online however I really don't find what I'm looking for. Please comment any meals or snacks that 'you' eat.

 p.s. nothing with tomatoes or  broccoli.

I had the same problem when I first became a veggie! Have you heard of qourn? They make meat styled food from a plant. A lot of my friends eat this, I've tried it a couple of times, tasty and nutritional but I don't like the texture, I never liked meat.

You could try that or else make meals like vegetable stir frys(bit of cajan spice goes well) or pasta dishes! Its good as you get a great balance of carbs and vegetables!

Also, seasoned potatoes with salads go well! Even cous cous is great!

Hope this gives you some help, you really gotta mess around with spices and herbs and vegetables and you'll figure out what's best for you! :)
